Dr. Tranquility is Lydia Belton, a mind–body wellness practitioner and media personality dedicated to helping people reduce anxiety, manage pain, and create more fulfilling relationships and lives. ⸻ Background & Expertise • Completed Relaxation Physiology for Mind–Body Medicine coursework at Harvard University. • Completed Coursework in Botanical Medicine for Women’s Health at Columbia University. • Clinical Hypnotherapist since 1998 — credentialed by numerous associations and multi-board certified (no doctorate). • Certified as a Hypnotic Anesthesia Therapist / Hypnotic Anaesthesiologist, specializing in managing pain for people who are not candidates for traditional pharmaceutical methods due to allergy or addiction. ⸻ Signature Work • Developed the Date Therapy® Protocol over 10+ years ago to help people remove blocks and align with healthier, more fulfilling partnerships. ⸻ Media & Community • Host of “Conscious Living with Dr. Tranquility”, airing in 14 AM/FM markets and available on major podcast platforms. • Volunteered with the Red Cross following 9/11, offering anxiety-relief sessions that evolved into longer-term work for some clients. • Former member of the Steering Committee, Children’s Museum of Manhattan. • Founder of Satori PR, a boutique PR firm focused on conscious and wellness-oriented brands.
